Wo wir gerade beim Thema sind:
Ich habe zwei angeschlagene ST-Books.
Eins macht kein Bild (beide Displays getestet), das andere hat ein paar gerissene Folien...

I had also the problem that I thought the display had died but it seems that the contrast wheel on the front was not good, it had a kind of bad contact.

I found this link http://www.stcarchiv.de/stc1994/09_news.php

At the bottom of the article they write something about memory upgrade for the STBOOK. The company who did it was Silicon Technology & Promotion they also had the solution for the sleepmode...

I tryed to find them on the internet but I couldn't. I would be nice to hear from those people the info about how-to. They seem to have the solution to do the upgrade on the ST BOOK

Don't think this company still exists. The article is dated 1994.

Hmm strange value 3Mb I think they meant adding 3Mb extra the stbook had 1Mb default.

But whatever. I heard that Trifolium in Kassel still upgrades ST BOOKS for around 398 euro's to 4Mb.
